Crane Operator - North Sea

Our client requires an experienced offshore Crane Operator for their Jack-Up operations in the North Sea.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience (prefarably on Jack-Up rigs).


Responsibilities:

The Crane Operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the cranes, and in addition to this, manages the Roustabouts. He /she supervises that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Barge Engineer or Assistant Barge Engineer’s instructions, and delivers essential on the job crew training within lifting and slinging.

Responsibilities:

The Hydraulic Mechanic is responsible for carrying out all supervision of the drilling equipment on board and carrying out all necessary maintenance on hydraulic equipment. He/she also assists in the training of the Roustabouts and Floorhands regarding maintenance work on hydraulic and other drilling equipment

Online Surveyor

AF000813/Survey & Inspection/Angola/Negotiable depending on experience /Starting date: 4th October 2017


Our client requires an Offshore Survey Engineer mobilising 10th July for 4-6 weeks in Angola. The surveyor is required to complete acoustic positioning of trencher and cable lay barge. The Surveyor must be proficient with:

 

  • Satellite positioning – either CNav or Veripos
  • Acoustic positioning – Sonardyne Range USBL system
  • Software – Eiva
  • Shore based terrestrial survey – Leica total station and Trimble back-pack RTK GPS system
  • IXSea Gaps
  • Able to work on their own – previous experience essential
  • Good technical knowledge – there may be a dive tech on site, but no other surveyors to assist.

 

Additional requirments;

·         Valid Offshore survival

·         Valid Seaman's book

·         Valid Offshore medical

Our client, a leading offshore drilling contractor, require experienced offshore Roustabouts / Roughnecks for their projects in the North Sea. Candidates must have all North Sea certificates including an HDA, ERTM and Banksman Slinger

 


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in assembling cargo vessels.
  • Loads and unloads cargo from helicopters and supply vessels.
  • Performs minor maintenance as required.
  • Assists in maintaining tubular goods.
  • Relieve Floorhands as required.
  • Assists in maintaining deck machinery and other equipment as required.
  • Assists in mixing mud and chemicals.
  • Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as otherwise directed.
