Project Manager - Perm Position - Aberdeen

Responsibilities

·        Administer ROV contracts ensuring that services provided meet Saipem and Client requirements.

·        Review personnel crew levels to ensure that the necessary number of qualified crews are available and assigned for each level.

·        Approve purchases to ensure that ROV Systems have the required equipment and tools to complete projects.

·        Ensure all Company safety and quality assurance procedures and standards are followed.

·        Co-ordinate movement of capital to work sites per project requirements.

·        Maintain standards of equipment and procedures for INNOVATOR ROV systems.

·        Set up and maintain lines of communication, not limited to supervisor reports, maintenance logs, failure reports, daily time and dive sheets.

·        Plan, track and maintain ROV personnel training.

·        Oversee workshop activities, including personnel work assignment and asset allocation.

·        Perform other duties as assigned.

·      To become familiar with and to maintain awareness of Saipem’s current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.

·      To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Saipem’s policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures.

 

·      To ensure his/ her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.

Deputy Support Manger / Project Manager - Perm Position

▪ Ensure the governance of projects and initiatives in terms of organisational, financial, technological and contractual aspects, assuring the achievement of the established objectives
▪ Plan, coordinate and control the execution of the project, in accordance with Client requirements, within time and cost constraints and in compliance with HSE and Quality procedures
▪ Achieve profit objectives ensuring the observance of Saipem procedures and practices

▪ Ensure, for Subsea Technology projects, the achievement of the established cost, time, quality, health and safety objectives in order to meet the contractual obligations
▪ Ensure that the planning activities for Subsea Technology projects are performed, liaising with the other organizations and functions involved in the project execution

 

▪ Represent Saipem towards Clients, Licensors, Partners and Subcontractors managing also contractual aspects
▪ Ensure the proper contract analysis and the review of contractual documents
▪ Ensure the implementation of methodologies related to risk and knowledge management and to Saipem Golden and Silver Rules
▪ Supervise the economic and financial tasks by defining the most appropriate methodology to be applied to produce the project economic indicators of Feasibility
▪ Organize and hold the project kick-off meeting
▪ Define project strategies and the scope of work of each Party (e.g. Proposal Plan, Project Architecture, Project Organization, Project Execution Plan, Quality Plan, Procurement Plan, Overall Resource Plan, etc.), ensuring the project activity planning
▪ Approve and supervise planning and cost control activities supported by the other project organisation roles, implementing the corrective actions needed to achieve the established project objectives

ROV Support Engineer - Permanent Position

AGR's Client have a staff opening in Aberdeen for a ROV Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

·      INNOVATOR ROV systems/operations

·      Refurbishment/maintenance of INNOVATOR ROV systems

·      Loadtesting requirements for INNOVATOR ROV Systems

·      AMOS material / maintenance tracking system

·      PDM drawing/document system

·      Implement and organise any approved modification to the INNOVATOR ROV system, ensuring all changes are fully documented and included in the manual as per Quality Procedures.

·      Create specifications for purchasing new INNOVATOR ROV equipment.

·      Assist with recording statistics on INNOVATOR ROV reliability, by subsystems.

·      Monitor maintenance logs, collate information for analysis, MTBF, etc.

·      Assist with monitoring cost of INNOVATOR ROVs R & M, including cost sheets.

·      Monitor receipt of INNOVATOR ROV technical reports.

·     Conduct INNOVATOR ROV System audits including checking inventories.

·      Assist with refurbishment or INNOVATOR ROV equipment.

·      Second source suppliers of INNOVATOR ROV spares and equipment.

·      Prepare operational procedures relevant to INNOVATOR ROV operations on Saipem managed vessels and assist Sonsub Division Project Engineers in preparing INNOVATOR ROV Procedures for Sonsub Division projects.

·      Process received Project INNOVATOR ROV equipment MRs and assist with expediting as required.

·      Ensure all INNOVATOR ROV spares and related equipment shipments are dealt with in line with planned schedule and to minimise possible interruption of the operational activities.

·      Distribute received offshore paperwork to the applicable departments.

·      Perform acceptance inspections before mobilisation of any INNOVATOR ROV and / or INNOVATOR ROV related equipment supplies to the project.  Request demobilisation reports for applicable equipment.

·      Verify that offshore INNOVATOR ROV personnel assigned to the project are fit for purpose.  Identify any potential problems with allocated resources or planned crew changes and report to Project Manager/ROV Personnel Supervisor.

·     Provide INNOVATOR ROV technical support to the Commercial Department when required.

·      To be conversant with all INNOVATOR ROV items and conditions of the Project both technically and commercially and to have a full understanding of the scope of work related in individual projects.

·      Assist in the implementation, control and monitoring of overall Safety and Quality Assurance in all INNOVATOR ROV Project related activities as laid down in the Company’s Safety Quality Manuals and Procedures.

·      Assist in the preparation and maintenance of budgets for Projects in relation to ROV services and associated equipment.

·      Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that the Cost Controller is provided with timely adequate financial information in relation to ROV services.

·      Encourage any technical developments or suggestions that will enhance the overall Project or Operational efficiency.

·    Assist in ensuring that all ROV related aspects of Project Administration, Engineering and Operations fulfil the Contract requirements and are conducted in a safe, efficient and profitable manner.

·      Participate in the off duty rota.

·      Vessel visits / system audits as required.

·      Promote safe working practices.

·     Train, mentor and/or guide ROV offshore personnel in their area of expertise.
