DPO

AA000847/Drilling/United Kingdom/North Sea/£300 – £320 per day GBP/Starting date: 20th June 2018

Our client requires a DPO for their semi-sub in the North Sea. All applicants must have semi-sub experience. 

 

Key Responsabilities: 

 

  • Operate dynamic positioning equipment in order to maintain the rig in a stable condition and at the correct draft and trim
  • Setup the DP system and position reference systems
  • Advise the Driller and Chief Mate of potential position loss
  • Assist in performing preventive maintenance on DP equipment
  • Ensure that there is adequate power and reserves of power for the maintenance of position and operations; give immediate attention to any problems
  • Ensure that all defects and anomalies are reported to the Chief Mate and relevant department heads; maintain accurate records
  • Train Assistant Dynamic Positioning Officers
  • Stand navigation watch
  • Sound ballast and bulk tanks as needed
  • Assist with loading and sampling of bulk products
  • Perform emergency duties and responsibilities as stated on the Station Bill, DP Emergency Response Plan and vessel specific Emergency Response Manual
  • Maintain logbooks and utilize inventory and maintenance management software systems
  • Assist as directed by Chief Mate with rig projects
  • Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs and in pre-tour weekly safety meetings
  • Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
  • Perform other duties as required

Roustabout/Roughneck

Our client requires Roustabouts and Roughnecks with Deepwater experience for projects based internationally.

 

Key Responsabilities: 

 

  • Tank installation and repairs
  • Dig pits and lines
  • General cleanup
  • Install motors on equipment
  • Set well equipment at well locations which includes cement pads and pumping units
  • Responsible for tie-down of pumping units and installing counter weights for balancing pumping units
  • Install and repair pipelines such as drisco, steel, and pvc
  • Haul pipe and rods
  • General yard maintenance of ground and buildings
  • Haul gravel for tank battery location and road upkeep
  • Clean up oil spills
  • Must be proficient with all tools including air and electrical

Rig Mechanic

Our client requires a Rig Mechanic for their rig in the North Sea. Applicants must have semi-sub experience. 

 

Responsabilities


  • Repair and maintain all vital machinery aboard the rig.
  • Safely maintain topside main diesel engines, pumps, valves, HVAC-R equipment, Rig Air system and the rig Fuel system to ensure uninterrupted drilling operations.
  • Record and retain physical records of all work performed on the rig, including the efficient documentation of records.
  • Cross-collaborate with various departments aboard the rig to ensure all necessary drilling equipment functions properly.
  • Efficiently maintain an evolving record of all chemicals necessary aboard the rig while ensuring chemicals are stored in proper locations based upon Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Professionally operate in harsh conditions while ensuring projects are completed on time and exceed company expectations.

Our client, a leading offshore drilling contractor, require experienced offshore Roustabouts / Roughnecks for their projects in the North Sea. Candidates must have all North Sea certificates including an HDA, ERTM and Banksman Slinger

 


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in assembling cargo vessels.
  • Loads and unloads cargo from helicopters and supply vessels.
  • Performs minor maintenance as required.
  • Assists in maintaining tubular goods.
  • Relieve Floorhands as required.
  • Assists in maintaining deck machinery and other equipment as required.
  • Assists in mixing mud and chemicals.
  • Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as otherwise directed.
  • Comply with HS&E policies and procedures
